Latest jobsAustralian-listed Exoma Energy said that the Kelln 94-2 well in Texas’s Anadarko basin has reached a total depth of 3139 metres and produced a steady gas flare between 1.5 metres and 4.5 metres.
The operator Mewbourne Oil Company, ran and cemented casing on 14 March and plans to run cased hole logs in the next two days.
The Kelln 94-2 well is designed to twin the Kelln Trust 5-1 well, which lies in the next block, section five, Oklahoma. The Kelln Trust 5-1 well has steadily produced in excess of 1 million cubic feet of gas per day, plus 30 barrels of oil per day from the Atoka formation.
Hydrocarbon shows will only be reported after wireline logs have been run and evaluated, Exoma said in a statement today.
The Kelln 94-2 lies in section five, Block OS2 in Lipscomb County.
Exoma’s stake in the well is 18.92%.
