Ombrina Mare reserves stack up
Mediterranean Oil & Gas is sitting on certified reserves of about 5
million barrels at the Ombrina Mare-1 well, at the Ombrina Mare field, off
Italy, it said today.
The reserves, from the Ombrina Mare-1 well were certified by independent
reserve engineers Studio Ingegneria Mineraria.
The move boosts Ombrina Mare's contingent resrouces tally to between 23
million and 60 million barrels, Mediterranean said.
Meanwhile, the Galloway jack-up rig is preparing the sub-sea wellhead site in
preparation to spud the Ombrina Mare-2 well.
Mediterranean will get to work on a development plan for Ombrina Mare once the
well is completed.
