Latest jobsHungarian producer MOL has handed a $119 million contract to an international consortium to build surface facilities at its Manzalai field in Pakistan, according to reports.
The contract from MOL Pakistani unit was won by the PDIL consortium, including Presson Descon International, Descon Engineering and Enerflex Systems.
The project will boost production at the field, on the Tal Block in the Karak and Hangu districts of Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province, by 200 million cubic feet of natural gas and 4000 barrels of condensate per day, Pakistan’s Dawn daily reported.
The newspaper said the field’s first and second stages would produce a combined 250 Mmcf per day of gas and 4500 bpd of condensate after completion of the work.
The contract includes building of a central processing facility with two 150 Mmcfd gas trains and associated infrastructure, as well as remote gathering stations and seven wellheads.
MOL is the operator of the Tal Block on behalf of joint venture partners Pakistan Petroleum, Oil & Gas Development Company, Pakistan Oilfields Limited and Government Holdings of Pakistan.
