Soco rakes in the cash
UK-listed Soco International saw its profits increase by 11% in 2007 to come
in at $32.3 million, adding that it was nearing first production from the
CNV field in Vietnam and the Bualuang field in Thailand.
However, the company added in a statement on Wednesday that technical problems
with the TGD-1X well in the E prospect in Vietnam would delay final results
from this well, which investors hoped would confirm the existence of a major
find.
