Peruvian call: for LNG
Irradia's Peru LNG plan gets nod
Peruvian energy investment regulator Osinergmin has given the go-ahead to liquefied natural gas player Irradia's plans for a liquefaction plant, according to reports.
Irradia boss Willy Neustadtl told BNamericas that company is now waiting on a construction permit from the Energy & Mines Ministry.
Building work is due to start this year at a 10-hectare site in Chilca district south of Lima.
The project includes a storage tank to hold 4200 cubic metres of LNG, which is equivalent to 10 days of plant production, according to Irradia's website.
