Offshore support and marine services company Ezra Holdings has reported a 101% jump for both revenues and gross profit for the first half 2008 financial year.
The Singapore-listed company said gross profits increased from S$26.1 million (US$18.9 million) in the first half 2007 to S$52.5 in the first half of 2008 as revenues doubled to S$136.7 over the same period.
The outfit said that the marine sector made up 14% of revenues and the offshore sector accounted for 86%.
In geographic terms, south-east Asia made up 68.5% of revenues, other countries made up 23.6%, followed by Singapore on 8%.
The financial year in Singapore runs from September through till August.
