Odim wins largest deal ever

By Upstream staff

Norway’s Odim has landed its biggest ever deal worth over Nkr425 million ($84 million) from an international seismic survey company, the outfit said today.

The order covers automated handling solutions for a total of six new three-dimensional seismic survey vessels and options for two additional ships. Delivery is scheduled from next year.

“This is the largest order we’ve ever won,” says Idar Hatløy, vice president for seismic at ODIM.

“It confirms our strong position in the market for automated handling solutions for seismic survey vessels, a segment where we’re still seeing good activity."
