Scan Geophysical reported a Nkr53.3 million ($10.5 million) jump in profits from 2006 levels, booking Nkr14.1 million in profit for 2007.
The group’s revenues stood at Nkr405.8 million last year compared with Nkr173.5 million in 2006.
“The sharp increase in the revenues from 2006 reflects the fact that there have been two vessels operating all the year on good rates,” said the company.
The profit for the year as a whole is affected by the fact that the company is in a strongly expansionist phase, the outfit added.
