Costayaco-3 flow test cheer
By Upstream staff
The Costayaco-3 well, in the Chaza Block, in Colombia's Putumayo basin, has been successfully tested at a maximum flow rate of 2543 barrels of oil per day from 106 feet of perforations, said Solana Resources.
Alberta-based Solana added that final completion operations are under way in preparation for long-term testing of Costayaco-3.
Meanwhile, work on the 10-kilometre pipeline which will tie Costayaco-1 into Uchupayaco is expected to begin in the middle of the month and completed by mid-July.
Solana holds a 50% working interest in the Costayaco field with operator Gran Tierra Energy on 50%.
