Flows?: at Saudi Aramco's Khursaniyah field
Aramco 'opens Khursaniyah taps'
Saudi Arabia has kicked off production at its 500,000-barrels-per-day Khursaniyah oilfeld, Abdullah Jumah, head of state oil company Saudi Aramco said.
"We have already started," he told reporters yesterday when asked if oil had started to flow from the field. He said the kingdom had 2 million bpd of spare oil output capacity.
"If the market needs it we will supply it," Jumah said, Reuters reported.
