Latest jobsOman's Qalhat Liquefied Natural Gas said today it would consider building another LNG train if the government could ensure gas supplies.
"We are always looking to expand by adding another train if we could get enough gas supply from the government," Qalhat LNG boss Harib al-Kitani told Reuters on the sidelines of an energy seminar.
Qalhat LNG produces 3.3 million tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas with long-term supply contracts to Spain's Union Fenosa and Japan's Osaka Gas.
The Omani government holds 46.84% of Qalhat LNG, Oman LNG has 36.8%, Union Fenosa has a 7.36% stake and the remainder is held by a number of Japanese companies.
