Novatek ties up $800m loan

Russian gas producer Novatek has sealed a $800 million three-year syndicated
loan, chief financial officer Mark Gyetvay said today.
"We signed the syndicated loan yesterday, we will make the announcement
today," Gyetvay told Reuters. He did not provide any details of the
agreement.
A banking source confirmed the deal has been signed.
"The loan was oversubscribed during the syndication, but the company made a
decision not to increase the amount," the source told Reuters.
Novatek mandated BNP Paribas, Calyon, Citigroup and SMBCE to organise the
loan.
