You will take on a Project Management lead role and be responsible for managing and delivery within budget. You are to deliver Prospect projects, using your own technical expertise and experience in Engineering Design and Computational Analysis as well as group-wide technical support.
Design and specification of hydraulic systems for marine and offshore cranes.
Calculations in accordance with the regulations of the classification companies.
Follow-up of workshops and subcontractors at home and abroad.
Participation in design and product development for our projects.
You will report to the Principal Engineer, you will support the execution of Prospect projects, using your own technical expertise and experience in Engineering Design, Computational Analysis as well as group-wide technical support.
In this key role, you’ll have an important part to play in the wide range of new Oil and Gas developments we’re rolling out across the globe. And when you realise the scale and scope of what will often be $multi-billion projects, you’ll understand what an exciting opportunity that presents. Providing technical process engineering support, the challenges you’ll face will be as diverse as the projects you’re involved in. As well as working closely with Development Managers and Subsurface professionals to make the most of our existing sites and develop new proposals, you’ll oversee the work of contractors from conceptual studies all the way through to the detailed design stage. You’ll also contribute significantly to the development of less experienced colleagues.

Nexus Energy said an independent consultant’s report had backed the increase in reserves in the Crux petroleum liquids field in the Browse basin off Western Australia.
Nexus said in a statement that an analysis by auditor Gaffney, Cline & Associates had suggested a mid-range estimate for recoverable reserves from the field of 75.2 million barrels of condensate, 63.9 million net to Nexus, up from 66.3 million barrels (56.4 million net) estimates at the auditor’s previous report in October last year.
This is in line with Nexus’s own estimate of a 12% rise in the size of Crux recoverable reserves to 74.6 million barrels following the drilling of the Crux-3 and Crux-4 appraisal wells earlier this year.
The wells intersected previously unknown younger Montara formation gas-charged sand overlying the older Plover and Nome formation sands, which has been broached in the earlier Crux-1, Crux-2 and Crux-2 ST-1 wells.
The field lies in exploration permit AC/P23. Nexus operates the permit with an 85% stake on behalf of Osaka Gas, which holds the remaining 15%.
