TS7 dives in with MISC

By Upstream staff

Technip and Subsea 7's joint venture Technip Subsea 7 Asia Pacific (TS7) has landed a subsea installation and pipeline supply job for MISC off Vietnam.

TS7 is set to carry out a lump sum flexible supply job for the Malaysian company at the Ruby floating production, storage and offloading vessel.

The floater is moored in about 50 metres of water off Vietnam.

Technip said the job includes the supply of 880 metres of 10 inch flexible riser, 440 metres of 6 inch flexible risers, 1900 metres of 10 inch flexible flowlines and associated buoyancy.

Delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

Meanwhile, TS7 completed a fast-track contract for diving support services with Shell Todd Oil Services. The job covers work on the Maui maintenance project off New Zealand in water depths of 100 metres.

Technip said the work was successfully completed in January 2008 by TS7 from its office in Perth, using the Rockwater 2, one of TS7’s vessels.
