On the rise: at M&P
M&P rakes in revenues
French producer Maurel & Prom has seen its revenues rise in the first quarter, coming in at €74.9 million ($116.7 million), up from €60.1 million in the same period last year.
M&P added that first-quarter sales rose 25%, boosted by oil production in Colombia.
Revenue from wholly owned drilling subsidiary Caroil eased slightly to €21 million.
"Sales were favourably impacted by higher oil prices and negatively by the dollar/euro exchange rate," M&P said, adding that group first-quarter sales expressed in dollars rose 42% to $112.2 million.
