Houston-based FMC Technologies is to supply production trees and other key subsea equipment to US independent producer Anadarko’s projects in the Gulf of Mexico under a five-year alliance between the companies.
The deal is an extension of existing agreements between FMC and Anadarko, the largest independent producer working in the deep-water Gulf.
“We are excited about the opportunity to continue to work with Anadarko, “ said John Gremp, FMC Technologies' executive vice president of energy systems.
“They have a significant rig inventory to execute their deep-water program, a solid exploration track record, an established producing infrastructure and a robust development plan. This alliance will allow us to use our innovative technologies to support the development of their portfolio,” he added.
