NKT risers to Petrobras challenge
Denmark's NKT Flexibles has sealed a three-year frame agreement with
Petrobras, which could be worth as much as $300 million, for the delivery of
flexible dynamic risers.
The deal will see NKT supply to 90 kilometres of six-inch ID and eight-inch
ID flexible dynamic risers and static flowlines for installation in water
depths reaching 2000 metres.
The frame agreement will run from 2009 until 2011 and has a total potential
value of $300 million if fully exercised, NKT said.
