Odim scoops $74m Havila gig

Norway’s Odim has bagged a Nkr74 million ($14.5 million) contract for automated handling equipment from Havila Ships.

The contractor is to supply an active heave compensated crane with lifting capacity of up to 150 tonnes and four automated Odim Lars launch and recovery systems for remotely operated vehicles.

The systems are due for delivery between 2009 and 2010.
