ExxonMobil sets sail with Deep Sea PSVs

By Upstream staff

Offshore services player Deep Sea Supply has sealed two four-year time charters with ExxonMobil for the newbuild platform supply vessels Sea Pollock and Sea Turbot.

The contracts start in August this year, shortly after the Sea Turbot is delivered from Cochin Shipyard.

The newbuilds - two of eight ordered from Cochin - are UT 755L PSV vessels.

Meanwhile, Deep Sea Supply said the newbuild PSV Sea Trout, which will be delivered Karmsund verft at the end of this month, is chartered to Petrofac from delivery for the duration of drilling seven wells.

The Sea Lynx has been fixed to Saipem for a minimum of 175 days.

The total value of the contracts is worth more than $90 million.
