Another one in the sack for Dockwise
Dockwise has taken delivery of another heavy transport vessel, the Talisman,
following successful sea trials of the unit.
The heavy transport vessel is the third of six units that will see the company
boost its fleet to 22 units.
Designed to transport cargo such as semi-submersible and jack-up drilling
units the vessel has a carrying capacity in excess of 35,000 tonnes.
Last year Dockwise took delivery of two other units, the Transporter and the
Target.
The remaining three tanker conversions are expected to be delivered through
the course of 2008.
