Latest jobsAlberta operator County Line Energy has abandoned its exploration of two prospects in Montana, citing high financial risk and inadequate data.
The projects are the Roth Well-1 and the Titan State Well-1, situated on 160 acres and 640 acres, respectively.
The wells were older and in areas of high carbon dioxide concentration and high hydrogen sulphide.
“We have decided that the risk reward offered by this project does not meet our current criteria and we will direct our attention to other projects,” company chief Harry Bygdnes said.
