Oslo unveils APA round goodies
Norway's Ministry of Petroleum & Energy has unveiled the 18 blocks on
offer in this year's Awards in Predefined Areas (APA) round.
The round will cover four blocks in the Barents Sea, three in the Norwegian
Sea and 11 in the North Sea. Most of these are relinquished blocks which
have seen some previous exploration work.
Bids must be submitted by 12.00am (1100GMT) on 3 October, with the award of
new production licences due later this year or early next year.
