In this key role, you’ll have an important part to play in the wide range of new Oil and Gas developments we’re rolling out across the globe. And when you realise the scale and scope of what will often be $multi-billion projects, you’ll understand what an exciting opportunity that presents. Providing technical process engineering support, the challenges you’ll face will be as diverse as the projects you’re involved in. As well as working closely with Development Managers and Subsurface professionals to make the most of our existing sites and develop new proposals, you’ll oversee the work of contractors from conceptual studies all the way through to the detailed design stage. You’ll also contribute significantly to the development of less experienced colleagues.

UK-based Leed Petroleum said the Eugene Island A-7 well in the Gulf of Mexico had logged about 34 feet of potential pay.
The company said the hydrocarbons had been identified as a zone of interest but were not the main target of the well. It said it would continue to evaluate the find while drilling towards the main objective continued.
Leed said the well, which spudded on 17 April and was at a depth of 13,958 feet yesterday, was on target to hit depth in the third quarter of the year.
The Eugene A-7 well is being drilled in about 80 feet of water on Eugene Island blocks 183 and 184, about 80 kilometres south of Morgan City, Lousiana.
Leed operates the well under its 100% working interest in Block 183 and 100% stake in the southern part of Block 184.
