Osage gets extra time in Colombia

By Upstream staff

US-based Osage Exploration & Development has received an extension for phase one of their exploration period for its Rosablanca joint venture with Gold Oil in the Middle Magdalena Valley, Colombia.

Osage has received notification from the National Hydrocarbon Agency of Colombia that the joint venture’s phase one exploration period has been extended through December.

The company said that the phase one exploration period was set to expire on 3 July prior to the extension.

This gives the joint venture extra time to drill the first well at Rosablanca following completion of an ongoing environmental review.
