Dana Gas pumps up profit
The Middle East’s largest regional private sector natural gas company Dana Gas reported an 18% increase in third quarter net profit at AED26 million ($7.07 million) compared with the same period a year ago.
The company’s revenue from oil and gas production hit AED320 million for the three month period ending in September.
Dana said its gross operated gas production from operations in Egypt and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has reached 220 million cubic feet per day, totaling more than 40,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
As of 30 September, Dana’s cash and bank balance stood at AED1.18 billion.
