Norwest Energy: bird's eye view on its Isle of Wight assets
Norwest takes off on Isle of Wight
Perth-based Norwest Energy said it had kicked off an airborne gravity gradiometry survey over part of its PEDL 239 licence area on the Isle of Wight, off the southern UK.
The survey is being run by Bell Geospace on behalf of Norwest’s UK unit NWE Southern Cross and is expected to take between one and three weeks to complete.
Norwest also said a high-resolution ground gravity survey had been wrapped up on the PEDL 238 licence between Christchurch and Poole Harbour in Dorset.
Norwest and partner Osceola Hydrocarbons each own 50% of PEDL 238, while Norwest owns 75% of PEDL 239 with Osceola owning the remaining 25%.
