Jed de-listed as appeal denied

By Upstream staff

Canada’s Jed Oil has received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange Alternext, that its appeal against a decision to de-list the company has been denied by an exchange committee panel.

The NYSE Alternext will now file an application with the US Exchange Commission to de-list and stop trading of Jed stocks as soon as practically possible, said Jed Oil in a statement.

Jed Oil has 15 days from 7 January, to request an appeal of the full committee on securities, and if that appeal is denied, to appeal the decision by the committee to the board of directors of the Exchange.

Jed Oil does not intend to request a further appeal, said the company.
