Concerned: Nobuo Tanaka
IEA may slash demand forecast
The economic slowdown may prompt the International Energy Agency (IEA) to make a further cut in its oil demand forecast when it releases it latest monthly report on Friday, IEA executive director Nobuo Tanaka said.
"We are likely to cut our demand forecast, although I don't know by how much," Tanaka told Reuters on the sidelines of an energy forum in Tokyo.
"It's because the economic situation is extremely bad," he added.
