Easing back: Gazprom said today it expects its exports to drop this year
Gazprom braces for export drop
Russian giant Gazprom expects its gas exports to fall to about 140 billion cubic metres this year, down from last year's 179 Bcm.
Gazprom's deputy chairman Alexander Medvedev also said that the average export price will be around $260 per 1000 cubic metres, a drop from the company's previous forecast of $280 per Mcm.
"We forecast (exports) at 140 Bcm, while th average price forecast is around $260 per Mcm," Medvedev told Reuters.
