French seismic player CGGVeritas is set to offer senior notes due 2016 via a private placement on international capital markets in a bid to raise $300 million.
In a statement, the company said the notes will rank pari passu with the existing senior notes of CGGVeritas due 2015 and 2017.
CGGVeritas aims to use the cash to repay credit facilities and for general corporate purposes.
