BG eyes Karachaganak date
UK gas producer BG Group said today it was hoping to decide on the design of a delayed expansion of the Karachaganak project in Kazakhstan by the end of the year.
"We are working very closely with the government and our partners to finalise the development concept for the next phase of Karachaganak expansion before the year end," Reuters quoted Peter Dranfield, president of BG's Kazak unit, as saying at the Kazakhstan Growth Forum.
