Gazprom: Hoping for luck off Vietnam.
A subsidiary of Russian gas export monopoly Gazprom spudded its first exploration well at Block 112, off Vietnam.
Zarubezhneftegas said it will drill six exploration wells over the next 14 months on the block.
Last year, Gazprom signed a deal with state-run Petrovietnam to explore four new offshore blocks, according to a Reuters report.
