Ecopetrol transfers subsidiary assets
Ecopetrol has established a foreign securities holding company headquartered in Spain named Ecopetrol Global Energy and has transferred all of its assets in Ecopetrol America to the new company.
The transfer of the assets amounts to $610.1 million and was carried out at book value, in accordance with the norms and procedures set forth in the jurisdictions involved in the transaction, the company said in a statement.
