Nigeria output slides in first quarter
Nigerian oil production including condensates and natural gas liquids was estimated at 1.68 million barrels per day in the first quarter, the central bank said in a quarterly economic report released today.
The bank said the figure compared with 1.87 million bpd in the preceding quarter.
It said crude oil exports were estimated at 1.23 million bpd in the first quarter of 2009, down from 1.42 million in the preceding three-month period, a Reuters report.
