Extra time: for maintenance on a Sakhalin-2 train
Sakhalin-2 train out for extra month
Russia's Sakhalin-2 consortium has extended maintenance at one of its two liquefied natural gas trains by one month, a spokesman for the group involving Gazprom and Shell said today.
The maintenance started on 13 June and had been planned to last 12 days.
"During the shutdown checks have indicated that some remedial work associated with the compressor system is required. This will result in an extension of the shutdown time by one month. We will do our best to minimise this time," he told Reuters.
