Speaking out: Hojatollah Ghanimifard
Business as usual in Iran
Unrest in Iran since the presidential elections earlier this month has not affected the operations of its domestic energy sector or dealings with foreign oil companies, a senior oil official said today.
"I have continued with my meetings with representatives of international oil companies and...to my knowledge this has no impact on energy in Iran," Hojjatollah Ghanimifard, vice president of international affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company, told Reuters.
He was speaking ahead of a gas producers gathering in the Qatari capital.
