Gazprom plans $1.5bn Eurobond
Russia's Gazprom plans to issue a$1.5 billion of Eurobonds and will use part of the proceeds to finance the acquisition by its oil arm, Gazprom Neft, of Sibir Energy, according to reports.
The placement could take place at the end of the month, wrote Interfax , quoting sources.
Gazprom Neft says it has built up a stake of just under 49% in mid-sized oil company Sibir, and has not yet decided whether to buy more stakes.
