New work: for the Toisa Proteus
Acergy lines up Oz gig
London-based subsea services company Acergy said today it has won a SURF contract from BHP Billiton for construction support services for a floating production storage offloading project off Western Australia.
“The services will consist of project management and engineering and the offshore installation of subsea manifolds, flexible flowlines and risers, umbilicals, and the tie-ins associated with the field, including pre-commissioning of the subsea system associated with this FPSO development,” said Acergy in a statement.
This project will be managed from our office in Perth, Australia with offshore installation, using the Toisa Proteus, scheduled to start in the second half of the year.
