Shell picks its FLNG winner
Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell is on the verge of awarding a multi-billion dollar contract for the construction of up to three floating liquefied natural gas production vessels.
Shell started “final negotiations in June and they have almost finalised everything”, a well-placed source said. The trail-blazing project is likely to see a letter of intent awarded late this month, with formal contract award following soon after.
