Petrobras production fell in June
Brazilian oil giant Petrobras’ production fell in June, owing to programmed outages at two platforms and the ending of production on a floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
Petrobras said that overall daily oil and gas production reached an average 2.505 million barrels of oil equivalent last month, down from 2.547 million boe in May.
In Brazil, Petrobras' domestic oil production fell to 1.927 million barrels per day in June from 1.989 million barrels in May, after wells in Marlim Sul and Marlim had scheduled outages, and production ended on the FPSO-Capixaba vessel, Petrobras said.
International crude output continued to rise, reaching 146,300 barrels of crude per day in June from 136,300 in May, a Dow Jones Newswire report said.
Petrobras said domestic natural gas output grew to 51.8 million cubic metres per day in June from 51 million cubic metres in May.
In June, Petrobras produced 17.9 million cubic metres of natural gas outside Brazil, up from 17 million cubic metres per day in May.
