Grampian Police name dead oil man
An oil worker who was found dead after he went missing from the Shell-operated Brent Delta platform has been named.
Grampian Police have named the man as James Piggott, 56, from Inverness.
No further details have been released.
He went missing from the Brent Delta platform, in the UK sector of the North Sea, on 17 July.
A major search involving three helicopters and a Nimrod from RAF Kinloss, as well as a dive boat, was launched when the alert was first raised.
Piggott's body was later recovered from the sea.
Grampian Police said his death was not being treated as suspicious.
