Pemex boss: Jesus Reyes Heroles
Calderon may replace Reyes Heroles
Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon may name the president of Telefonica’s Mexican unit to replace the current chief executive officer at state-owned Pemex, local reports said.
Francisco Gil, a former finance minister, would replace Jesus Reyes Heroles as the head of oil producer Pemex, Raymundo Riva Palacio said today in his financial column that appears in Mexico City-based El Financiero newspaper, without citing any sources.
Pemex’s press office declined to comment.
An e-mail and telephone call to Telefonica’s press office were not immediately returned, reported Bloomberg.
