Anadarko ready for Independence day
Anadarko Petroleum said today that most of the scheduled maintenance work needed at the Independence Hub in the Gulf of Mexico was completed in the third quarter.
A company spokesman told Reuters the platform was expected to pump about 700 million cubic feet per day through the end of the year.
The Independence Hub lies in 8000 feet of water in Mississippi Canyon Block 920 in the Gulf of Mexico.
The offshore natural gas processing facility with the capacity to produce up to 1 billion cubic feet per day.
