Subsea7 bags Mexico ROV gig
Oslo-listed Subsea 7 said today that it has won a five year contract from Industrial Perforadora de Campeche to supply a remotely operated vehicle for the newbuild ultra-deepwater semi drilling rig La Muralla III.
The contract is valued in excess of $10 million, said Subsea 7 in a statement.
Subsea7 will provide an advanced newbuild 300 metre-rated work class ROV system and provide operations, maintenance and management services for the duration of the contract.
Work on the contract will start once the rig arrives in Mexico, currently scheduled for fourth quarter next year.
