Toreador spuds French wildcat

Paris-based Toreador Resources spudded the La Garenne LGA-1D exploration well in its 100%-owned Rigny le Ferron permit in the Paris basin in France.

The MR7500 rig, contracted through French driller Compagnie Forage Cofor, will drill to a total depth of about 1550 metres.

The well is projected to take 20 days to drill.

Toreador is targeting two reservoirs within the middle Jurassic Dogger formation.
