Technics ready to roar off Vietnam
Singaporean service provider Technics is primed to start another deal worth S$16 million (US$11.5 million) for Vietsovpetro after sealing a contract for the provision of the topside equipment for wellhead satellite platform BK-9 at the Bach Ho (White Tiger) oilfield off Vietnam.
Technics will carry out engineering, project management, procurement, fabrication, supervision of installation and hook-up, onshore and offshore commissioning of topside modules for the BK-9 platform.
Including this latest deal, the Singapore outfit has been awarded a total of 11 wellhead satellite platform orders from Vietsovpetro.
Vietsovpetro is a Vietnamese-Russian joint venture established in Vietnam between state-owned Petrovietnam and Zarubezhneft of Russia.
