Mahakam duo renews gas pact
Total E&P Indonesie and Inpex have signed a gas deal with Aceh-based fertiliser producer Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) for supplies from the Mahakam block off East Kalimantan.
Total and Inpex will supply a total of 3 trillion British thermal unit (Btu) of gas in 2010, Total said in an-emailed statement to Jakarta Post yesterday.
Last year, the duo supplied 9 trillion Btu of gas to PIM.
The Mahakam block reportedly produced around 2.56 billion cubic feet of gas per day and 99,900 barrels of oil condensate per day in 2009.
