Sasol primed to bump up its tally
South African producer Sasol expects to raise its output to 42,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day this year from last year's 38,000 boed, a senior official said.
Sasol's Mozambique asset manager Spencer Quam told an Africa energy conference in Johannesburg that the company is aiming to pump 55,000 boed in the coming three years.
"Right now we have an equivalent 38,000 barrels per day equity production... this morning it looks like it's going to be about 42,000 for this year. We are going to grow to 55,000 in the coming three years," Reuters quoted him as saying.
