Houston junior EV Energy Partners priced its offering of 3 million common units at $28.08 per unit.
EV expects to raise about $82 million from the sale, which will be used to fund its $330 million buy of acreage in Ohio from US independent Range Resources.
The partnership expects to deliver the units on 12 February.
RBC Capital Markets, Citi, Raymond James and Wells Fargo Securities acted as joint book-running managers for the offering, according to an EV release.
