Barent Seas: EMGS trawling the waters ahead of Norway's licensing round.
EMGS launches Norwegian sweep
Seismic player Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has launched a multi-client 3D electromagnetic campaign ahead of the 21st licensing round in Norway.
The survey touted as the world’s first large-scale multi-client 3D EM acquisition is a continuation of the highly successful Barents Sea project in 2008, EMGS said.
EMGS posted an $18.7 million loss on $7 million revenue for the fourth quarter of 2009.
During the quarter, the seismic player was awarded a $5 billion 3D EM survey in the Caribbean and a data licensing agreement with Rocksource in the Gulf of Mexico.
